Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Yesterday we decided to take advantage of the lovely weather and pay a visit to the Botanical Gardens, a much appreciated green space in built up Birmingham. The gardens are a great place to explore and gather inspiration, with Victorian glass houses, open gardens, an aviary, butterfly house and lots of beautiful plants! It has been so nice recently to have a bit of free time after my hectic final year at university and it was such a novelty to wander around taking photos and then sit in the sunshine eating ice cream and chatting with my boyfriend Joe. Here are some photos from the afternoon, flowers and butterflies aplenty!
